St. Colmcille's Pipe Band is the official name of our band but we are also known as Arklow Pipe Band, this is our registered name within the Irish Pipe Band Association and the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association.  We are based in Arklow, Co. Wicklow, Ireland, and our band was formed in 1941.
We are currently competing at Grade 2 level on the competition circuit.
We hold our band practice sessions four times weekly, Mon. evening is our beginner class where we meet from 7pm until 8.30pm to give instruction to new members, on Wed. evening from 8pm to 9.30pm, Sat. evening from 7.30pm to 9pm and Sunday mornings from 11am to 12.30pm.  These practice sessions are held at our premises, The Lar Cullen Hall, which is located in Castlepark, Arklow.
New members are always welcome so if interested please come along to any of these sessions or contact us if you have any query about band membership etc..
